    just re-read for the second time. What bothers me about Scalzi’s piece, “Invisible Knapsack” by McIntosh, and many others that are cited as recommended reading, is how trivializing they are of real problems.
    Will realizing that it is easier to find a band-aid that matches your own skin color (white) be really the turning point that will bring to that person social enlightment?

    I think the people who throw around rhetorical privilege hand grenades with wanton abandon should read up a bit on logical fallacies. It’s ad hominem, pure and simple. The rules of logic don’t suddenly change because someone has suffered.
