    Well said! I was watching the opening ceremony on TV and the only sound that travelled through the speakers were the monotonous drone of the vuvuzelas. I couldn’t hear the singing at all – I probably didn’t miss much because the entire ceremony was just pathetic.

    I never thought I’d say this, but I’m actually glad to be living in a small town because the soccer/vuvu fever hasn’t infected us yet.

      I didn’t mind the ceremony so much (even R Kelly was funny), but the vuvuzela is little but an annoyance.
